Michael G. Manes
Michael G. Manes has been described as a "Cajun Philosopher." His 38 years of experience in the insurance industry and the scar tissue accumulated serve as the foundation for his consulting practice and educational presentations on issues of planning, innovation, organizational operations and change management and architecture. He facilitates planning retreats, mergers and acquisitions, and agency rollups.

Mike's industry experience includes working in adjusting, agency production and management, and affinity group program development and marketing and BancAssurance, as well as serving as a bank insurance officer.

Mike was also an instructor of risk and insurance at Louisiana State University. He has served as on numerous insurance industry panels in Louisiana (for the governor, the attorney general, the insurance commissioner and LSU). He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the National College of Natural Medicine and the Board of Directors for the LSU HSC Network. He participated in the National Security Seminar at the U. S. Army War College in 2006. Mike has served as the executive director of the Louisiana Managed Healthcare Association, as a lobbyist and as an expert witness.
