U.S. Risk Insurance Group Inc. named Mark J. Siceloff as a senior broker of U.S. Risk Brokers, the managing general agency's wholesale excess and surplus lines insurance brokerage operations. Siceloff will specialize in providing property/casualty coverage for the energy sector, both offshore and onshore exposures, including control of well. Most recently, Siceloff was the property practice leader with Energy Risk Associates Inc. in Dallas. He also has served as a property practice leader at Marsh USA.
M.J. Hall and Co. Inc., a managing general agent and surplus lines wholesaler with offices in Alaska, Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas, promoted Sarah Marsh to broker/underwriter. She will focus on property/casualty business for the excess and surplus lines brokerage firm. Marsh has been the marketing representative for M.J. Hall for the past two years. She will be based in the Stockton, Calif., corporate office.
Brian Duffy joined the San Francisco office of independent wholesale insurance brokerage All Risks Ltd. as a director. His product line specialties include primary general liability, excess liability and umbrella for construction risks, habitational, hospitality, life sciences and excess automobile. Duffy spent more than 20 years as a partner with Tri-City Brokerage managing the Casualty & Property divisions prior to the firm's sale to the BISYS Group.
Norman-Spencer Agency Inc., a Dayton, Ohio-based wholesale insurance agency, hired Mark Yearn as national program director, recreational marine. He will oversee the H2O Headings Program, which serves boat dealers and marina operators across the country. Prior to joining Norman-Spencer, Yearn owned a marine insurance services agency.
Myron Steves, a Houston-based managing general agent and insurance wholesaler, promoted Karen Walker to associate director of transportation. Walker, who specializes in MGA, retail, company and reinsurance issues in the area of transportation, has been managing Myron Steves' Dallas Business Development Center and will continue in this role.
American Underwriting Managers, a Texas-based managing general agency and surplus lines broker, hired Ken Fisher as a contract underwriter/broker in its Southlake office. Fisher has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience. Fisher has been working for the past eight years in the reinsurance business, specializing in reinsurance for the surplus lines industry.
