Plantation, Fla.-based third-party administrator Broadspire, a subsidiary of Crawford & Co., has made several key executive appointments. The appointments are being made effective July 1 in an effort to better coordinate and consolidate its various operations, service offerings and staff functions. KENNETH F. MARTINO JR., who has been president of Broadspire since 2007, assumes the additional responsibilities of chief executive officer. DENNIS REPLOGLE, currently chief executive officer, has become chairman.

In addition, NEIL LENTINE, currently senior vice president of client services, has been promoted to the newly created role of chief operating officer, claim and client services. He joined Broadspire in 2000 after holding senior-level positions in claims and client services for Reliance National Insurance Company. DANIELLE LISENBEY, currently senior vice president of medical management, has been promoted to the newly created role of chief operating officer, medical services. She joined Broadspire in 1991 as an operations supervisor for the medical bill review unit and has steadily worked her way up through various promotions.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. has appointed BRENDA L. LOTT as a vice president and director of financial sector specialty services. She will lead the company's initiatives in a newly established dedicated business facility providing claims administration and related risk management services for credit card programs, consumer warranty plans and other specialized financial products. Lott has more than 15 years of experience in this area, most recently at Cambridge Integrated Services Group.

Sedgwick CMS also appointed TRACIE WEICKENAND as national utilization review director. Based in San Antonio, she will be responsible for providing and promoting quality utilization review services for all Sedgwick CMS clients. After first joining the company in 2003, Weickenand most recently served as manager of Sedgwick CMS's central utilization review unit in Memphis, Tenn.

GAB Robins North America Inc. has hired PAULA MAYERS STYLES as director of learning and organizational development for North American operations. Mayers Styles joins GAB Robins from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, where she served as a senior learning consultant. She previously served as a senior learning and development consultant at MetLife.

U.S. Risk Insurance Group Inc., a managing general agency and surplus lines wholesaler, has named J. BRIAN HOBBS as president of Professional Claims Managers Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Risk and the company's specialty third-party claims administrator. Hobbs joined Professional Claims Managers Inc. in 1998 and most recently served as executive vice president.
