JILL DALTON has joined Dempsey Partners as managing director of the firm's New York office. The office provides insurance claims preparation and forensic accounting services to the firm's New York-based clients, including several Fortune 500 companies. Dalton has worked at Marsh since 1985 and most recently served as managing director of the global property practice and head of the terrorism risk specialty practice. In 2008 she was named a Risk & Insurance® Power Broker in the financial institutions category.

Marsh Inc. has named JEFF COLBURN the U.K. leader of the risk consulting practice. Colburn previously was chief operating officer for Marsh's risk consulting specialty practices based in Washington, D.C. He replaces GEORGE DAVIES, who recently was named head of Marsh U.K.'s risk management practice. Also, ROB DE JONGE has been appointed to lead Marsh's risk consulting activities across mainland Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in addition to his responsibilities as head of risk consulting in the Netherlands.

Aon Consulting Worldwide, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corp., has hired GRACE COWAN in its Chicago office as senior vice president and national director of the Life, Disability and Elective Benefits practice. Cowan joins Aon Consulting from MetLife where she was senior vice president of Customer Service, Underwriting and Operations.

Aon Consulting has hired MIKE MATSUMOTO in its New York office as senior vice president and Japanese business leader for the Health & Benefits practice. As the Japanese business leader, he is responsible for developing health and benefits business with multinational organizations based in Japan. Matsumoto comes to Aon from Konica-Minolta Holdings USA where he was president and chief operating officer.
