ALLAN GRIBBEN was appointed global sales and marketing director for Willis Group Holdings. In the position, Gribben will be responsible for the "Client and Growth" initiative, which is part of the brokerage firm's strategy for profitable growth called "Shaping Our Future." He was CEO of Willis International, which now will be led by the trifecta of Brandan McManus, CEO of Willis UK & Ireland; Eugenio Paschoal, CEO of Willis Latin America; and Flavio Piccolomini, CEO of Willis Continental Europe.
WARREN MULA was named chairman if the U.S. retail organization of Aon Risk Services. He will continue to head the Aon Brokerage Group, with responsibilities including the firm's readiness to provide industry expertise to clients nationwide. Mula had been executive vice president and managing principal of national service management.
Aon Risk Services also announced that ERIC ANDERSON has become CEO of its U.S. retail organization. As such, he is responsible for the firm's network of more than 50 local offices across the country. He has more than 20 years of experience in the business, with stints at Lloyd's and most recently at Aon as U.S. retail field leader and CEO of Aon Global Americas.
Aon Consulting Worldwide, the human resources consultancy of Aon Corp., also made news with the appointment of BRIAN CLAPP as its Philadelphia market leader and key account manager, where he will be responsible for providing employee benefits and talent management services. Clapp has been in the professional service and operations management sphere for more than two decades, last as an executive vice president with Right Management, another human resources consulting company.
DONN VUCOVICH has become president of brokerage shared services for Chicago-based Hub International Ltd., a new position within the organization. He also joined the firm's executive management team and executive committee. Vucovich comes to Hub by way of Navigant Consulting and, previously, his own consulting firm, KI Solutions.
