HELEN STUART joined Roach Howard Smith & Barton as a senior account manager in the independent brokerage firm's Risk Management division. Stuart has more than a quarter-century in the insurance industry, 16 years of which were spent at the Horizon Agency Inc. in Eden Prairie, Minn., where she oversaw more than 750 accounts and increased the agency's book of business from $1 million to $16 million. She will now work in her new employer's Dallas office. RHSB, an Assurex Global partner, also has an office in Fort Worth, Texas.

RHSB also announced that SCOTT HENDERSON joined its Commercial Risk Management Insurance division as a vice president. In more than 18 years in sales, Henderson has developed a specialty in working with midsize to large companies in the graphics arts industry.

DENNIS TUMMINIA was appointed principal, employee benefits, in the San Francisco office of Edgewood Partners Insurance Center, a retail property/casualty and benefits insurance brokerage firm. Previously, Tumminia served as the director of the employee benefits consulting practice for MOC Insurance Services Inc. EPIC has offices in eight California cities.

EPIC also named TONI ERICKSON as principal, with responsibilities including the development of client programs in the middle market benefits segment and talent retention. Erickson entered the brokerage sphere in 1982. The firm also further expanded its Southern California operations with the appointments of DEBBIE SANTISTEVEN as account executive, JHOANNA FORE as senior account manager and SUSAN GARGANERA as technical underwriter consultant.

LAWSON BURNAT is now an account executive in the Commercial Lines department at Pritchard & Jerden Inc. Joining him at the independently owned, Atlanta-based insurance and risk management firm is ALLEN LUMPKIN as account executive in the Commercial Lines department and MIKE MEWBOURNE as account executive in the Life & Employee Benefits department.
