Aon Corp. announced that Karen Reutter joined Aon Construction Services Group as senior vice president. Based in Minneapolis, Reutter is one of a number of strategic hires employed by the group to develop innovative products and services. Prior to joining Aon, Reutter was employed with Willis, where she specialized in large accounts and national homebuilders, as well as the construction groups at St. Paul Cos. and Zurich.
Willis Group Holdings appointed Chris Lorsung
as leader of the company's Minneapolis Commercial Construction Practice, effective immediately. He will retain his title of senior vice president, Willis of Minnesota Inc. Lorsung's responsibilities will include leading a team of 46 professionals and driving growth and profitability for the unit. Lorsung joined Willis in 1999 from The St. Paul Insurance Co., where he held various underwriting and managerial roles within the insurer's construction unit.
Willis also announced the launch of a North American Yacht practice within its Marine Group and appointed NANCY POPPE senior vice president and North American Yacht Practice Leader. The new practice will serve the insurance needs of the owners of North America's most prestigious luxury yachts and will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Poppe joined Marsh Yacht in 1995, heading the practice for the last 10 years. Reporting to Poppe are vice presidents CHRISTEL MOHR, DIANA FABOZZI and KATHY SHEA, all formerly with Marsh.
Integro Insurance Brokers announced the promotion of Patricia Moores and Terry Rolfe as co-leaders of the firm's Aviation Practice. Moores joined Integro's Aviation Practice as a principal in July 2006, serving as its specialized claims advocate.For 17 years prior to joining Integro, she was in private practice specializing in aviation law and product liability defense litigation. Rolfe has been a principal in Integro's Aviation Practice since April 2006 and previously served as senior vice president and national operations manager for Marsh's Aviation Practice.
