ORLANDO RODRIGUEZ was named vice president, unit manager, for the Connecticut-based Commercial Insurance team at Lockton Cos. He will oversee commercial account activity across the Northeast region. With 14 years of experience, Rodriguez comes to Lockton by way of Marsh USA Inc., where he was senior vice president and client advisor, casualty.

Lockton also announced that its Denver office gained the addition of STEPHEN L. DOHERTY as a producer for all property/casualty lines. He brings 15 years of consulting experience, including time spent at Strategic Programs Inc., a consultancy for financial services, healthcare and transportation companies.

ORLANDO D. ASHFORD was announced as the new senior vice president of human resources for Marsh & McLennan Cos., parent company of brokerage firm Marsh, effective Sept. 22. Ashford last served as group director of human resources for Eurasia and Europe for the Coca-Cola Co.

PATRICK JEWELL is the new senior vice president of Tribal Nation Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Beecher Carlson that provides services specifically targeted to Tribal Nations. Jewell has more than two decades of experience in Tribal hospitality and gaming as well as claims administration.

KAREN MILDENHALL was joined Aon as the executive vice president of Aon Construction Services Group and resident managing director of Aon Risk Services in Phoenix. Besides heading the construction team, Mildenhall takes on operational responsibilities in Phoenix for client growth strategies and for the health and benefits practice.
