ARTHUR A. LIGGIO was appointed executive vice president at Driving Dynamics, a driver training and risk management consultant and service provider. Liggio comes to Driving Dynamics from First Advantage, a technology-oriented risk mitigation company, and has 25 years total in managing risk.

SCOTT BIRNBAUM, chairman of the board, was named acting CEO of Corporate Synergies Group, a Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based benefit solutions provider. He is replacing the retiring CEO, Eric Raymond, while the company carries out a search for a permanent replacement.

GWEN SPERTELL was named CEO of Exigen Insurance Solutions Inc., an IT product and service provider for the insurance industry. With more than 20 years of experience as an executive, Spertell has served as CEO for companies such as Liquid Engines and Intelligent Results.

DERICK WHITE is the leader of the newly formed risk retention group practice at Strategic Risk Solutions, the captive management and services provider. White retains his role as president of SRS Vermont. He is possibly best known as the former director of captive insurance for the Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities & Health Care Administration.

First Ohio Planning LLC announced that PATRICIA A. SIRKOSKI was named director of insurance services. She will be responsible for acting as liaison between insurance companies and First Ohio's business and professional clients.

RANJIT KOHLI was named chief operating officer of Consult2Comply, a consultancy specializing in issues of governance, risk and compliance. Kohli has more than 16 years experience, including time spent in senior positions at Verisign and GlobalOne.
