AlliedWorldAssuranceCompanyHoldingsLtd. promoted Frank D'Orazio to chief underwriting officer of Allied World Assurance Co. Ltd., its Bermuda insurance subsidiary. D'Orazio most recently served as senior vice president, global product line manager, general casualty. Prior to joining Allied World in June 2003, he worked at American Reinsurance Co. and the Chubb Group of Cos.
AlliedWorldalso promoted David Bell to chief operating and administrative officer of Allied World Assurance Co. Ltd. He most recently served as senior vice president, global product line manager, professional liability. Bell began working with Allied World in February 2002 when he started the company's professional lines division. Previously, he worked for Chubb, managing the professional lines operations in the Florida region.
XL Capital Ltd. appointed Fiona Muldoon as senior vice president, global treasurer. Muldoon previously served as senior vice president, corporate strategy, development, and planning officer. As global treasurer, Muldoon will oversee XL's treasury operations. She will continue to be responsible for XL's corporate development and strategic planning functions. Muldoon has worked for XL companies since 1993, relocating to Bermuda in 2003.
XL Capital Ltd. also named Jacob Rosengarten to the new position of executive vice president and chief enterprise risk officer. His new responsibilities will include ensuring efficient identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of key risks within the XL group of companies. Rosengarten most recently served as managing director of risk management and analytics for New York-based Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s asset management group.
Willis Group Holdings appointed Vince McGeehan executive vice president and managing director of Willis Bermuda, responsible for the company's insurance broking operations in Bermuda. McGeehan previously served as senior vice president, casualty, for ACE Bermuda. Prior to joining ACE in 2000, he was executive vice president of Aon Bermuda for six years.
