Sally B. Narey was appointed senior vice president and general counsel at Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. She will be responsible for corporate legal governance, legal and regulatory insurance issues, government and external affairs, and corporate litigation. She will also support Allianz of America on legal matters including governance, ethics and investigations. Narey most recently served as senior vice president and property/casualty general counsel at USAA.
Gina Boone recently joined Columbia Insurance Group as vice president and general counsel. Boone will serve as the company's chief legal officer providing direction and oversight to regulatory and compliance initiatives, as well as serving as a liaison on all legislative and lobbying activities. Previously, Boone served as assistant vice president/general counsel for a regional property/casualty company located in Texas.
Ronnie Bernon Gallina joined JAMS, a private provider of mediation and arbitration services, as a neutral. Based in New York, she will resolve disputes in areas including automobile accidents, insurance coverage, labor law, medical and professional malpractice, premises liability, products liability and toxic torts. Since 2003, Gallina has served on the panel of several ADR companies, resolving thousands of liability cases. From 1985 to 2003, she was the attorney of record for Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., and the managing attorney of the law office of Gallina & Connolly in White Plains, N.Y.
Norris McLaughlin & Marcus PA named Judge Jack L. Lintner a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution, Insurance Coverage and Appellate Advocacy Groups. Lintner served 20 years in the New Jersey State Judiciary and was appointed to the Appellate Division in 1999. He was a presiding judge of the Appellate Division from 2006 through his retirement in 2008. Lintner began his judicial career as a trial judge in the Superior Court in Middlesex County in 1988, where he spent nine years in the civil court attaining the positions of Presiding Judge of the Civil and Chancery Divisions.
