Beecher Carlson appointed SHARON D. BRAINARD as senior vice president. Prior to joining Beecher, Brainard was a senior casualty broker for Aon in the Southeast. Beecher Carlson also recently appointed IDA HAVENS as a senior vice president in its national health-care practice. The company's first production appointment in Houston, Havens previously was managing director for health care in the Southwest for Aon.

Mid-Atlantic independent insurance broker Harvey Insurance Group named GEORGE SCHERBAK as executive sales advisor. He was most recently president and CEO of Saucon Mutual Insurance Co. in Bethlehem, Pa.

Integro Insurance Brokers announced JAMES E. DUNN joined the company's New York office as a principal in its property practice. Dunn was a senior property claims consultant at Marsh for the last 14 years.

New York-based Kinloch Holdings Inc., a newly formed insurance brokerage holding company focusing on middle-market clients, named JOHN P. IACONO as its general counsel. Prior to joining Kinloch, Iacono was chief legal counsel at Alliant.

Willis Re appointed DONALD MACDONALD as deputy managing director of its U.K. Reinsurance unit. Prior to joining Willis Re, MacDonald founded a consultancy business, the Donald MacDonald Partnership LLP, and held several positions with Aon. Willis also named VALERIE DI MARIA as senior vice president and group marketing and communications director, a new position. Most recently, Di Maria was corporate vice president of communications and public affairs for Motorola.

Aon Re Global announced leadership appointments in its Europe-Middle East-Africa region and in the U.K. VINCENT REDIER, head of Aon France, now also serves as chairman of Aon Re Global-EMEA. RICHARD POSGATE, formerly Aon Re Global's chief administrative officer, now serves as president and CEO of the new EMEA unit. HOLGER GASEROW, head of reinsurance operations in Germany, Austria and the Nordic countries, now also serves as deputy chairman of Aon Re Global-EMEA. MICHEL HIDEUX was named CEO of Aon Re France. CHARLIE CANTLAY assumed the role of chairman of Aon Re Global-U.K., having previously served as deputy chairman. DAVID LEDGER, who previously headed the international division of Aon Re Global-U.K., assumed the role of CEO. ALASTAIR SPEARE-COLE, who led the Direct and Re Services areas, assumed the role of chief operating officer at Aon Re Global-U.K.
