Colemont Insurance Brokers, a large specialty insurance broker, has named CASEY HAMLIN chairman of Colemont?Southern California. Hamlin previously served as office president of the company's Southern California operations, and will be replaced by Andy Clark, former senior vice president and broker.

Beecher Carlson, an insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm, has promoted GERALDINE KERRIGAN to senior vice president. In this role, she will be responsible for the expansion, standardization and delivery of services within the firm's National Energy Practice. Upon joining Beecher Carlson in January 2005 as assistant vice president, Kerrigan was instrumental in expanding the company's energy client base.

Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, one of the nation's large insurance and risk management intermediaries, has appointed SCOTT BALDWIN to employee benefits practice leader in its Lombard, Ill., office. Baldwin is the former vice president and founding principal of Benefit Brokers & Consultants Inc. In his new role at HRH, he will be managing staff in group benefits, retirement planning and executive personal lines.

Integro, an insurance brokerage and risk management firm, has recently announced two major hires. JENNIFER WHEELER has joined Integro's San Francisco office as a principal. Her previous positions include senior vice president at Marsh and assistant vice president at Sedgwick. WILLIAM T. SULLIVAN has joined the firm's Chicago office as a managing principal. He comes to Integro from Aon, where he served as a relationship manager.

Yates & Associates, a provider of commercial insurance products to California brokers and agents, has announced MICHAEL V. NGUYEN is the newest property/casualty underwriter/broker at their Tustin, Calif., offices. Nguyen comes to Yates from Superior Access Insurance Services where he served as lead underwriter. Nguyen will be reporting to Alex Zardeneta and will be writing new business in the property/casualty arena.

Willis Group Holdings, the global insurance broker, recently announced several significant management promotions following the appointment of Don Bailey as CEO of Willis North America. The unit has named TOM EALY chief operating officer for Willis North America. Ealy brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience.

JOE GUNN has been promoted to executive vice president and national partner, North American client development. Gunn's previous position was national partner for the South Central Region. ERIC JOOST has been named the client advocacy leader in North America. He will continue to maintain his current responsibilities as North American middle-market leader.

Ealy and Gunn will be relocating to New York, while Joost will remain in Chicago.

The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers has elected TOM RODELL its 2007 chairman. Rodell is resident managing director of Aon Risk Services of San Francisco, and is the first person to serve twice in the key leadership position at the CIAB. Also council chairman in 2001, he succeeds this year Charles R. Daniels III, executive vice president of Rose and Kiernan Inc. of East Greenbush, N.Y.
