Property

Hanover policyholders will also receive a 20 percent discount on NER's theft prevention and equipment recovery services.

Health Care
DxCG Inc., a provider of predictive modeling software for health care organizations, has introduced DM Estimator, a new Web-enabled calculation tool that estimates potential cost savings from disease management. DM Estimator approximates the potential for savings based on a managed care population's demographics, geographic location, estimated disease burden and intervention approach.
Reinsurance
Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings' approach to reinsurance purchasing relies on iFM software to advise clients on recent advances in property catastrophe modeling, casualty loss modeling, risk measurement and economic capital modeling. More importantly, it helps align the reinsurance decision with the company's strategic financial planning function.
TECHNOLOGY
Product Management
Camilion Solutions has released a new version of ProductAuthority, the company's flagship enterprise management solution. This new version is fully Web-services compliant, and incorporates a key ACORD XML life and annuity specification to improve efficiency and manage risk in the annuity sales process.
Compensation

Mapping
Insurers affiliated with the American Association of Insurance Services now have regular access to the Risk Meter online risk mapping service through AAISdirect, the association's Web-based portal for insurance information. The information provided specifies a location's distance from coastlines, fault lines, and flood zones, as well as its exposure to hail, tornadoes, wildfires, crime and other hazards.
Claims
Homeserve PLC, a U.K.-based provider of home emergency services, has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter for its claims management operation. ClaimCenter will provide a range of claims handling functionality to commercial property managers.
Modeling
Insurance broker Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, has selected MapInfo Professional and MapMarker Plus with StreetPro to enhance the catastrophe services it offers to clients. This location intelligence solution will allow HRH to better monitor and assess clients' exposures and insurance needs on a near real-time basis. HRH will also be better equipped to present underwriters with information on their clients' exposures and loss potential so they can better market the risk to the carriers and speed up the underwriting process.
