Independent broker Collins, based in Minneapolis, has announced the following appointments:
CHARLES "CHIP" OTT was named executive vice president. Ott previously was senior vice president and heads the Collins department handling professional liability, life, and accident and health reinsurance.
HEATH FISHER was promoted to senior vice president. Fisher, previously with Collins' San Francisco office, now is general manager of the Orange County, Calif., office, which opened in March.
DAN KOSHIOL, previously vice president, professional liability, was named senior vice president. Based at Collins' Minneapolis headquarters, Koshiol's clients have primarily included medical professional liability insurers.
MARK ANDERSON, also based in Minneapolis, was promoted to vice president. Anderson serves a variety of insurance company clients in the property/casualty marketplace, including, most recently, several crop insurance companies.
STEVE HOKANSON was named vice president, fiduciary accounting. Hokanson supervises a team of analysts responsible for the accounting and claims on reinsurance accounts produced from the Minneapolis office for crop and other property/casualty insurers.
MICHAEL HOLLMAN, based in Collins' Dallas office, was named vice president. As a servicing broker, he places reinsurance and provides other services for clients that include property/casualty, life and health insurance companies, most of them based in the southeast United States.
TOM MORIN was promoted to vice president, human resources. Based in Minneapolis, Morin leads the human resources function for the Collins organization.
