Integro has announced that SHELDON RANKIN, former chairman and CEO of Marsh Canada, has been named chairman of Integro Canada Ltd. Rankin has 50 years of experience in the insurance industry, having progressed through the ranks of Marsh to become CEO and later chairman as well. Following his tenure at Marsh, he served as chief agent and CEO of Arch Insurance (Canada), where he was instrumental in establishing the presence of Arch Insurance in Canada.
In other Integro news, the company has announced that ANNE P. GIANNINI has been appointed principal for its San Francisco office. Giannini has more than 15 years of experience in casualty brokerage, focusing on retail, manufacturing, and professional liability risks. She comes to Integro from Marsh, where she most recently served as vice president, casualty risk management.
The company has also announced that GREGORY DIPRATO and VALERIE SCHMALZRIED have been appointed managing principals for Integro's property practice. DiPrato has more than 26 years of property brokerage experience, most recently serving as an executive vice president for Aon's National Property Practice. He has also held positions with Marsh, Sedgwick James and IRI. Schmalzried has 25 years of property brokerage experience, most recently serving as managing director of Aon Risk Services' National Property Practice. She has also held various positions with Marsh.
In addition, Integro has announced that THOMAS M. BIGGIO and ALLISON AST have joined the Chicago office as principals. Biggio has nearly three decades of casualty and property brokerage experience, most recently serving as director of marketing for Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services' Chicago office. Before joining Gallagher in 1987, he spent a decade as an account executive with Wausau Insurance Company. Ast has more than 20 years of experience in property and casualty brokerage, and most recently served as senior casualty syndicator for Aon Risk Services.
Integro has also announced three major hires for its New York office. NICHOLAS CONCA has been appointed managing principal and head of management risk for the New York office, with GARY R. MOORE and PAUL E. PERKS also joining as principals.
