DON MANGO has joined Guy Carpenter & Co.'s Instrat quantitative analysis unit as senior vice president, the firm has announced. Mango will report to John Tedeschi, managing director, and work with clients, using quantitative analysis to help them make better risk financing decisions. Before joining Guy Carpenter, he was director of research and development at GE Insurance Solutions and chief risk officer for American Re Insurance.
AYESHA NAVARRO, MURRAY KAMMER, CHARLES FOGDEN, MATTHEW COOK and DOUGLAS BUNDOCK have been appointed to help run the Canada operations of Willis Group, the broker has announced. They will work out of the company's Toronto offices. Navarro and Fogden were both former senior vice presidents at Aon. Kammer was a former senior vice president at Marsh Canada. Murray brings 25 years of industry expertise in the areas of management, group commercial, large and middle market, production, and account management divisions. Cook was former vice chairman at In Tech Risk Management, and Bundock was formerly a branch manager at Jones DesLauriers.
JBL&K, a Beecher Carlson company, announced today that it has added two new professionals in its Portland office. SCOTT MOSS joins as vice president, account executive, and CYNTHIA HILTON will also serve as vice president, account executive. Beecher Carlson operates under the JBL&K Risk Services brand in the Northwest, following its merger with that company in May 2005. Moss specializes in employee benefits and property/casualty for public-sector clients. Hilton previously held positions with the Utility Contractors Association of Oregon & SW Washington and National Utility Contractors Association.
