Global Willis Group Holdings Ltd. appointed ADAM CIONGOLI as general counsel. Ciongoli, former law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., will oversee Willis' legal, compliance and audit functions. Willis also announced the promotion of MARY CAIAZZO to the newly created position of chief legal officer. Caiazzo, who has been with Willis for nine years, will oversee the company's legal functions throughout the world.
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. appointed SUSAN MCGRATH as its corporate vice president and chief human resource officer. Most recently, she served as vice president of human resources at GE Commercial Distribution Finance, providing both domestic and international strategic human resource leadership for the inventory financing business.
Marsh Inc. appointed MIKE KELLY as head of its San Francisco office and WARD CHING as west zone growth leader based in San Francisco. Kelly has been with Marsh for 18 years and most recently served as west zone casualty practice leader. Ching, previously a partner at Towers Perrin, rejoined Marsh in 2006 and had been responsible for the firm's growth in the San Francisco Bay area.
Marsh also named ROB MCGINNIS as the leader of its U.S. consumer business, which includes the U.S. operations of the firm's affinity, program and private client services businesses. McGinnis most recently founded the McGinnis Group, an insurance consulting firm. Previously, he was president and CEO, life and group operations, for CNA Insurance.
Hilb Rogal & Hobbs named DAVID M. HOFELE president of its San Francisco Bay Area operations. Prior to joining HRH, Hofele served as managing partner, general counsel and secretary of Savannah, Ga.-based insurance brokerage Palmer & Cay Inc.
Kinloch Holdings Inc., a recently formed New York-based insurance brokerage holding company, named THOMAS E. O'NEIL as executive vice president. Previously chief operating officer of USI Holdings, he helped take USI public.
U.S. Risk Brokers, a subsidiary of U.S. Risk Insurance Group, announced JAMES C. DALTON as a senior broker for its Houston office. Former director of corporate liability for Seitlin Property and Casualty of Florida, Dalton will assume responsibility of executive liability coverage for private companies and publicly held companies.
Insurance broker Integro Ltd. has appointed ROBERT F. X. FEENEY as chief financial officer. Feeney joins Integro from HSBC, where he was managing director and business manager for global markets Americas. Prior to HSBC, Feeney was managing director and CFO of international fixed income at JP Morgan Chase.
