AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION

The society for physiatrist (that's spelled correctly), physicians who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Good collection of links and information on conditions and treatments.

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF NEUROLOGICAL SURGEONS

The Neurosurgery Today Web site of the AANS contains an excellent library of neurological conditions and the latest treatments for them.

AMERICAN CHIROPRACTIC ASSOCIATION

The ACA is the largest professional association in the world representing doctors of chiropractic. Its Web site offers health, insurance and regulatory information.

AMERICAN COUNCIL ON EXERCISE

Go here if you want to find out how to become certified as an exercise specialist or trainer, or if you want to tap the ACE database of fitness knowledge.

AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE ASSOCIATION

AIHA is one of the largest international associations serving the needs of occupational and environmental health professionals practicing industrial hygiene in industry, government, labor, academic institutions and independent organizations.

AMERICAN OPTOMETRIC ASSOCIATION

CALIFORNIA WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSTITUTE

The California Workers' Compensation Institute is a private, nonprofit organization of insurers licensed to write workers' compensation in California, as well as public and private self-insured employers.

CENTER FOR CONSTRUCTION RESEARCH AND TRAINING

The Center for Construction Research and Training, formerly known as The Center to Protect Workers' Rights, is a nonprofit organization created in 1990 to become an international leader in applied research, training and service to the construction industry.

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT BOARDS & COMMISSIONS

The IAIABC is a not-for-profit trade association representing government agencies charged with the administration of workers' compensation systems throughout the United States, Canada, and other nations and territories.

INTERNATIONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATION

The ISEA is the trade association in the United States for companies that manufacture safety and personal protective equipment.

MASSACHUSETTS COALITION FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH
