EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROFESSIONALS ASSOCIATION

The EAPA is the world's oldest and largest membership organization for employee assistance professionals, with a Web site that links to its Journal of Employee Assistance and offers training and other resources.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION

The Division of Workplace Programs of this government agency provides resources on such topics as drug testing, young workers, and prevention research and interventions.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH

The NIMH is the largest scientific organization in the world dedicated to research focused on the understanding, treatment and prevention of mental disorders and the promotion of mental health. Its Web site provides, among other things, information on various mental health conditions.

SCREENING FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Screening for Mental Health offers a program of mental health education and anonymous screening for common mental health concerns including depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, eating disorders and alcohol problems set up for early detection and appropriate intervention for an organization's employees and members.
