Texas: Division seeks comments on bill submission

The Division of Workers' Compensation proposes amendments to 28 TAC section 133.20(b) regarding Medical Bill Submission by Health Care Provider.

The proposed amendment updates the present rule, which is currently an incomplete statement of the deadlines for health care providers to submit claims for payment. Written comments must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Dec. 8, and may be submitted via the division's Web site: www.tdi.state.tx.us/wc/rules, or by mail to Victoria Ortega, Legal Services, MC-4D, Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation, 7551 Metro Center Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78744. Any request for a public hearing must be submitted separately to the Deputy Commissioner for Legal Services at the address stated above no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 8.
