BRADLEY J. WAUGH was named CEO of NaviMedix, a national provider of real-time health communications technology and services. Waugh had been president and chief operating officer of the company and, prior to that, had been U.S. president and CEO of Wincor-Nixdorf, a financial services firm. In his new role, Waugh will focus on expanding the company's national provider network and delivering new solutions to the payer community.

GOUTAM KUNDU was hired as global practice head, insurance vertical, at NIIT Technologies Ltd., an information-technology provider based in New Delhi, India. He will be responsible for expanding the firm's insurance services. Previously, Kundu held positions at Farm Bureau Insurance and Conseco Insurance.

NIIT also brought in SUDHANSHU SINHA as U.S. practice head, insurance vertical, with responsibilities for expanding revenue and market penetration in North America. The last six of his 15 years of industry experience were spent at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance.

J. MARK MCCONNELL joined HealthFitness as senior vice president of business and corporate development. He will be responsible for leading business and corporate development at the health services provider. McConnell previously worked at Healthways as senior vice president of employer solutions.

Aon Consulting hired AL WINTERS as assistant vice president for its Baltimore/Washington Retirement Practice. Winters has been in the retirement actuary business for a decade, some of which had been spent previously at Aon Consulting as an associate actuary.

Aon Consulting also appointed MATT SMITH as senior vice president and leader of the U.S. National Defined Contribution Practice. Smith comes to Aon by way of Russell Investments, where he led the U.S. defined contribution unit since 2001.

BESA BESHIRI joined Brown Smith Wallace LLC as a staff accountant in its insurance group. Beshiri will be responsible for auditing financial statements, preparing federal and state tax returns, and other financial and accounting projects for insurance clients.
