People on the Move: Workers' Comp

EILEEN AUEN was named chairman and CEO of PMSI, a nationwide provider of pharmacy, specialty products and services for the workers? compensation and liability markets. Auen comes with more than two decades of experience in workers' comp and healthcare, including her previous position as head of healthcare management at Aetna Inc.

JON PEASE is now president of WellComp Managed Care Services Inc., a provider of managed care services to California employers and medical bill review services throughout the United States. Pease will be responsible for business development, staffing, strategic planning and operations, as well as expanding the firm's managed care services beyond California.

MARSHALL GORDON and SKYLAR RUPP joined the new Boca Raton, Fla., office of Appalachian Underwriters Inc., a full-service managing general agent and wholesale insurance brokerage. Both new hires will market and underwrite workers' compensation coverage for PEO firms around the country. Gordon comes to AUI by way of Guarantee Insurance Co. and has more than 20 years of insurance experience. Rupp also previously worked for Guarantee and brings two decades of experience.
