Washington: Outdoor heat exposure

During the development of WAC 296-62-095, Outdoor Heat Exposure, the Department of Labor and Industries received public comment from agriculture stakeholders who believed the adopted version of the rule should be included in Chapter 296-307 WAC, Safety Standards for Agriculture.

The purpose of this rulemaking is to include the adopted Outdoor Heat Exposure rule in Chapter 296-307 WAC, Safety Standards for Agriculture. Public hearings will be held throughout the state between Jan. 6 and Jan. 15. For a list of times and locations, visit www.lni.wa.gov/rules/AO08/21/0821CR102.pdf. Submit written comments to Jamie Scibelli, Project Manager, Division of Occupational Safety and Health, P.O. Box 44620, Olympia, WA 98507-4620, by 5 p.m. on Jan. 16.
