Colorado: Hearing to discuss medical fee schedule

A public hearing will be held on Aug. 7, 2009, at 9 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room, 633 17th Street, Denver, regarding proposed rule revisions to the Medical Fee Schedule.

The topics to be considered are: 1) Rule 16 revisions to language and standard terminology, revisions to or clarification of administrative procedures and requirements necessary to implement the Division Medical Treatment Guidelines and Medical Fee Schedule; and 2) Rule 18 revisions to clarify or update the language of the Medical Fee Schedule; revisions to the medical billing codes systems; update of fees and relative values; revisions to medical requirements, procedures and payments as they relate to the Medical Fee Schedule. Any written submissions should be submitted to Bob Summers, Director, Division of Workers' Compensation, 633 17th Street, Suite 400, Denver, CO 80202, prior to the hearing. The Notice of Rulemaking, Proposed Statement of Basis & Purpose and Regulatory Analysis, and proposed rule revisions are available at the department's Web site at www.coworkforce.com/dwc/Notices/Proposed%20Rules/Proposed%20Rules.asp.
