The Bloomberg Report

In Sept. 2006, New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg asked his deputy mayors to co-chair a panel to examine WTC-related illness. Among other things, the panel found that treatment could cost $392 million per year.

The report's author's also note, "To date, federal support for 9/11-related health programs has been modest and short-term."

The 84 pages of the Bloomberg panel's findings also offer several recommendations going forward.
