Insurance expert to offer detailed market outlook at conference

Economic turmoil is having a significant impact on the direction of the workers' compensation market.

Dr. Robert P. Hartwig, president of the Insurance Information Institute, will help employers and insurers make sense of these changing conditions and forecast the workers' comp market at the 18th Annual National Workers' Compensation and Disability Conference® & Expo, which will take place Nov. 18-20 in Chicago at McCormick Place. Hartwig, who has also served as an economist for the organization, will kick off the conference by sharing his bird's-eye analysis of the impact of the economic crisis on the workers' comp arena and offer a detailed economic outlook for the year ahead.
