Minnesota: Treatment parameters may be amended

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry is considering adopting rule amendments to the workers' compensation treatment parameters, Minnesota Rules, Parts 5221.6020 to 5221.8900.

A July 2009 draft of rules governing: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, opioid analgesic, and muscle relaxant medications; traction technologies; electrical muscle stimulation; acupuncture and manual therapy modalities; functional capacity evaluations; complex regional pain syndrome (reflex sympathetic dystrophy); and other updates and technical corrections to existing parameters is available at www.dli.mn.gov/PDF/docket/5221Draft1a.pdf. Comments may be submitted until further notice is published in the State Register. All written comments, questions and requests can be sent to Carrie Rohling at DLI.Rules@state.mn.us.
