The change would require attorneys to provide an itemization of the amount and disposition of any and all medical bills or obligations to third-party payors that are due after a lump-sum settlement. The commission also proposed the inclusion of a temporary rule amendment to Idaho Code 17.02.08.031 to include physician fee updates that would no longer be available once the 2010 legislature adjourns. The complete text is available at http://adm.idaho.gov/adminrules.
