Only As Strong As the Weakest Link

The employer-based healthcare insurance system is weak, and getting weaker, according to this report from the Urban Institute, a nonpartisan and nonprofit think tank in Washington, D.C.

This healthcare benefits report doesn't claim that the employer-based system is about to die off entirely. Instead, the author attempts to highlight the system's weakness, which are especially evident when it comes to the fate of the lowest paid workers in the country.

And she provides possible reforms that could support the system, and allow employers to continue attracting top talent with the best benefits.

Thanks to the Urban Institute for permission to use this material.
