Iowa: Comp officials say consolidating hearing locations would cut costs

The Iowa Division of Workers' Compensation has proposed consolidating the state's eight workers' comp hearing locations into four -- one location per judicial district.

Officials said that by reducing that number the state comp agency hopes to rein in costs and better meet shrinking budget projections.
