Survey finds layout, office environment design can motivate employees

An ergonomically designed office environment not only can reduce the likelihood of musculoskeletal disorders, it can also help employees reach optimum productivity.

According to a recent survey commissioned by The Office Exhibition, nearly 90 percent of office workers questioned reported that the design and layout of their office affected their level of motivation. The survey also revealed that despite the importance of office design more than 50 percent of employers were failing to assess their employees' satisfaction with their working environment.
