The Arizona operations of Willis announced the promotion of KJ WAGNER to executive vice president. After spending eight years at Marsh, Wagner joined Willis in 1999, most recently serving as senior vice president.

Lockton Cos. expanded its Atlanta operations with the additions of MICKEY BROWN as senior vice president and BRIAN FETHERSTON as vice president, unit manager. Brown spent the last six years at Marsh and Fetherston joins Lockton from Cigna Healthcare.

Lockton also named two executive vice presidents for its Dallas team, ANTHONY SCOTT CONVERY and KENNETH GOULD. Convery previously spent 14 years as a sales leader for Marsh in Dallas. Gould most recently worked as a producer at Wachovia Insurance Services.

In addition, FERNANDO ORTEGA AMIEVA was named president of Lockton operations in Mexico, as well as executive managing director of Lockton Mexico Agente de Seguros y de Fianzas, S.A. de C.V., the broker's employee benefits and actuarial consulting company. Ortega most recently operated his own risk management consulting firm Promeritum, after spending 30 years at Marsh.

Aon Corp. made several recent appointments in its reinsurance intermediary Aon Re Global. MICHAEL O'HALLERAN, a 21-year Aon veteran, moved from chairman and CEO to executive chairman. TED DEVINE, previously chief operating officer of Aon Risk Services Americas, was named chief executive officer of Aon Re Global. GEOFFREY BROMLEY will join in February 2008 as vice chairman after completing his duties as chairman of Guy Carpenter's European and Asia Pacific operations.

Aon Risk Services named MICHAEL S. FLANAGAN managing director within the Aon Technology Group and MICHAEL C. LAMPRECHT as senior vice president within the Aon Financial Services Group.Both men come to Aon from Arthur J. Gallagher's cyberrisk services practice, Flanagan as managing director and Lamprecht as national practice leader.

Aon also named three former Marsh executives to lead its U.S. National Aviation Practice. PETER SCHMITZ, former COO of Marsh's aviation practice, now oversees all of Aon's U.S. aviation offices. ROBERT BEYERS, former managing director of Marsh's aviation practice, now holds that title at Aon. TRACY TORO is also a managing director, having previously been responsible for Marsh's general aviation product line.

Edgewood Partners Insurance Center, a newly formed San Mateo, Calif.-based insurance brokerage, announced four hires. JOHN GREENFIELD, formerly of ABD Insurance and Financial Services, is vice president specializing in property/casualty. Coming to EPIC from UnionBanc Insurance Services Inc.'s energy and construction division are vice presidents MIKE MCMULLEN and PENNY CROWDER and account executive CINDY HENRY.

Privately owned insurance brokerage Frank Crystal & Co. named MICHAEL ROBERTS director in the national executive benefits department. Roberts previously was an insurance and investment risk management specialist at West Financial Group, an agency of MassMutual. Frank Crystal also opened a new office in Bridgehampton, N.Y., to be led by JOHN WILTSHIRE, director in the personal insurance department of the private client services unit. Wiltshire was previously an insurance broker for Amaden Gay Agencies in East Hampton, N.Y.

Beecher Carlson expanded its executive liability team with the hiring of LEATICIA ROBERTS as client service manager in Atlanta and KIMBERLY FINE as senior vice president from the firm's New York office. Roberts will be responsible for servicing, brokering and ensuring client satisfaction for executive liability products.Fine has more than 18 years of experience in the legal industry working with general counsel and managing partners, developing educational programs addressing leadership, law department management, financial analysis, risk assessment, litigation and liability.
