The division also proposes to adopt OAR 436-010, which addresses the rights of workers to choose any person to provide interpreter services to communicate with a medical provider. The division requests public comment on whether other options should be considered for achieving the rules' goals while reducing the negative economic impact on business. The division held a public hearing. Written comments may be submitted until April 27 to Fred Bruyns, Workers' Compensation Division, 350 Winter Street NE, Room 260, Salem, OR 97301. The proposed rules are available at www.wcd.oregon.gov/policy/rules/rules.htmal#proprules. For more information, visit www.wcd.oregon.gov.
