The Good News & Bad News on Workers' Comp Claims

NCCI Holdings Inc., one of the more trusted sources of workers' comp data and research out there, announced some good news in a report put out this past summer. The claim frequency in workers' comp continues to fall, the report's authors trumpeted. Better yet, the decline still seems to be affecting larger claims as well as the smaller ones.

Yet let's not pop the champagne just yet. Frequency was down in 2006, but up are indemnity and medical severity.
