Highlights From the NWCDC Show

The highlight of every November issue of Risk & Insurance magazine is the announcement of the year's Theodore Roosevelt Workers' Compensation and Disability Management Award winners. Read more about them here, as well as get on-site coverage of the NWCDC and downloadable copies of our Show Dailies.

This year's competition features a winner in the new federal category and a too-close-to-call finish in the nonprofit sector.

The result was a tie for nonprofit Teddy Award winners Houston Independent School District and Riverside County of California.

The inagural federal category winner was Red River Army Depot.

And coming in as the for-profit Teddy Award winner: telecom giant AT&T.

Read all about them in the online version of our November issue, or also check out coverage in the NWCDC Show Daily -- Day 1 , Day 2 and Day 3 -- produced live in Chicago.

Don't miss our Web-exclusive coverage of the NWCDC, which includes this sound bite collection from the opening keynote session on the top challenges facing the workers' comp industry and the insurance companies' responses from the Wednesday general session.

Also, we have coverage of news coming out of the insurance executive roundtable and one of the most interesting sessions from Chicago.
