Create culture of safety through training

A lack of health and safety training is a significant driver of injuries among young employees.

According to a previous study by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, about one-third of the teens surveyed said they had not received any safety training on the job. In addition, researchers found that 52 percent of males and 43 percent of females were required to use dangerous equipment despite federal child labor laws prohibiting these practices. Effective and comprehensive training for these employees will help establish a culture of safety at your organization.
