SOLUTIONS THE HARTFORD FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP INC. now offers XactPAY, its payroll-based workers' compensation premium payment service, to midsize and larger commercial customers. The insurer has also launched XactPAY Xpress, a self-reported billing option designed specifically for companies that manage their own payroll.
PROSPX INC., the sales collaboration solution provider for the commercial insurance industry, released InsiderConnect. This electronic marketing solution delivers targeted insurance industry and line-of-business specific news and updates to producers who are actively working on related new and renewal business opportunities. FREIGHTWATCH INTERNATIONAL, a global logistics security solutions provider, introduced the FreightWatch Geo F2 Tracker. The F2 Tracker is an embeddable tracking device available to the market for tracking and monitoring cargo, identifying its whereabouts, preventing cargo theft or recovering shipments if a load is stolen. RESOURCES ONEBEACON GOVERNMENT RISKS announced its new online risk management training center. Available on its website, the center is designed to deliver insights and resources to help public entities efficiently mitigate their risks. SCOR announced the launch of its SCOR Global Risk Center, which will bring together studies and publications produced or supported by SCOR and all of the resources that SCOR wishes to reference for all those interested in risk. The resource is available to everyone, free of charge, at www.scorglobalriskcenter.com. The NATIONAL FLOOR SAFETY INSTITUTE (NFSI) published a new national safety standard for testing hard surface flooring, the ANSI/NFSI B101.1, which could impact the risks of slips, trips and falls. The ASSOCIATION OF CORPORATE COUNSEL (ACC) published the new reference guide, "A Policyholder's Primer on Insurance," which was authored by several attorneys in the Dickstein Shapiro Insurance Coverage Practice. The 178-page primer is intended to give in-house counsel background to identify insurance issues that may arise, participate in substantive insurance discussions relating to those issues and assist risk managers in maximizing the protection afforded by insurance. COVERAGES ULLICO CASUALTY GROUP INC. increased its limits for fiduciary liability insurance from $15 million to $25 million, which are available on a primary or excess basis. The Washington, D.C.-based subsidiary of Ullico Inc. is seeking to attract larger multiemployer and public funds business. IRONSHORE INC. created a specialty market program in partnership with medical financial services provider BLIS INC. to protect bariatric surgeons performing elective cash or self-pay surgery. Called BLISCare, the insurance product protects bariatric surgeons by covering the cost of complication-related medical care. The CHUBB GROUP OF INSURANCE COS. added Czech Republic, Hungary and Portugal to its WORLDcert proprietary online system, which can instantly generates certificates of insurance in 152 countries for clinical trials.
