IAN BAXTER was appointed regional director for Crawford Global Technical Services in Asia Pacific for Crawford & Co., effective Jan. 4. Based in Singapore, Baxter brings to the position more than 30 years of claims experience, including 25 spent in the Asian marketplace. Baxter will also become a member of the GTS Executive Council.
EDUARDO KIMSI was named as the general manager for Crawford & Co.'s operations in Mexico. Kimsi began his loss adjusting career in 1995 and has developed expertise in insurance and reinsurance program design, loss prevention and complex claims handling. He will be based in Mexico City.
JOSHUA KRANZ joined the Hiscox USA claims team as senior claims counsel. He will be responsible for managing the North American architects and engineers claims, as well as handling claims from other errors-and-omissions products. He comes to Hiscox from Arch Insurance Group, where he served as senior counsel for the professional liability division.
LAURA TARANTINO was elected to the board of directors for FARA Insurance Services. Tarantino also serves as senior vice president and general counsel for the claims administration and risk management services provider. Before joining FARA, she served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for a national, private-equity-backed company
