Texas: Division takes first step to change medical bill reporting

The Division of Workers' Compensation informally proposed rules to request input regarding reporting requirements for information and data to be submitted concerning medical charges and payments.

These rules will allow the division to maintain a statewide database of medical charges, actual payments, and treatment protocols. It also adopts the implementation guide and specifications necessary for successful electronic data interchange transaction processing.
