ANN HAUGH was named CEO of the global corporate unit in the United Kingdom for Zurich Financial Services Group, effective Feb. 1. She previously served as chief operating officer of the global corporate division in Zurich and, before that, as COO of global corporate operations in North America.

JEFFREY HAGER was appointed as regional president of ACE Far East, responsible for property/casualty, accident and health insurance in Japan. Previously, Hager was national sales leader at Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. and executive vice president of AIU's property/casualty, accident and health operation in Japan.

MARK HILL was hired as senior vice president of casualty for Ironshore Europe Ltd. Based in Dublin, Hill has more than 25 years in U.S. casualty insurance at insurers and brokerages. Previously, he worked as senior vice president in the excess casualty unit of Iron-Starr Excess Agency Ltd. in Bermuda and as vice president at Lexington.

Ironshore Europe also announced that P. DONALD HARKEY will become head of its political risk unit as senior vice president. He has been with Ironshore since March 2010 after more than three decades in international finance and trade credit.

MARC MCLEAN joined Ironshore's Pembroke Syndicate 4000 as head of its personal accident division.Most recently, the 20-year veteran was the class underwriter, accident and health, for the Argo Managing Agency (Syndicate 1200).

RICHARD HOUSLEY will become underwriting director of Flagstone Syndicate Management Ltd., effective Feb. 1 and given FSA approval. Previously, the 25-year veteran worked as CEO of the specialty lines division at Axis, a company he worked for from 2002 to 2009.
