Information-technology provider VERTAFORE launched an authorized provider network for education providers across the country. Called the Vertafore Authorized Provider Network, this new service facilitates the management of continuing education (CE) information for the insurance industry.
Montreal-based INEDGE entered the U.S. marketplace with its business intelligence solutions for insurance companies.The company's solutions enable insurance companies to increase productivity and reduce operations costs by making data management and analysis tasks less labor intensive and time consuming.

CNA announces the availability of Epack Extra, an enhanced version of its modular Epack product that includes directors' and officers', employment practices liability, fiduciary, miscellaneous professional liability and media liability. Epack Extra includes the various endorsement enhancements that CNA has offered since the release of Epack more than 10 years ago, in addition to technology errors and omissions, network security and privacy, and crime.
BEAZLEY broadened its coverage of environmental risks by establishing environmental underwriting capacity at Lloyd's. It will focus on fixed-site environmental liability and pollution liability business for contractors and service firms.
OPERATIONS
MEDRISK INC., the King of Prussia, Pa.-based workers' compensation specialty managed care services provider, launched its Risk Information and Business Intelligence (RIBI) unit. RIBI's first initiative is to roll out a new reporting platform featuring state-of-the-art graphics and outcomes analytics. Client roll-out will begin later in 2011.
J&L RISK MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS INC. initiated the expansion of their workers' compensation for subrogation consulting. The Raleigh, N.C.-based firm offers a wide range of workers' comp services and insurance cost containment for public as well as private businesses.
