CDS BUSINESS MAPPING LLC. enhanced its crime report by providing additional crime statistics for the surrounding area, up to a half-mile to two-mile radius. This information will enable underwriters and agents to better assess and price crime risk.
WYDE CORP. unveiled its Wynsure version 4.4, a core insurance system used by insurers in North America, Europe and Asia. The new versions features a hierarchy commission function that lets insurers manage commissions that various agencies are sharing, as well as a Web portal that lets insurers' business partners view and update with their customers' policies.

The Microinsurance Innovation Facility of the ILO is now accepting applications for six new openings in its fellowship program. The fellowships are aimed at giving insurance professionals the opportunity to develop in-depth microinsurance expertise. Deadline for applications is March 31.

The COMMISSION FOR CASE MANAGER CERTIFICATION introduced its new Pre-Approved Continuing Education (PACE) program, a streamlined path for organizations that offer continuing education for CCM certificants to gain approval for their programs. Beginning in April, PACE offers those who provide workshops, webinars and continuing education coursework a guided, online process that will eliminate the need to duplicate approvals for repeated courses and will simplify data entry and fee structures.

MARITIME PROGRAM GROUP launched a new excess P&I facility specifically designed for crewed yachts. The new program through Navigators Insurance Co. offers up to $25,000,000 excess of $5,000,000 underlying for crewed luxury yachts.
SCHINNERER released its Railroad Protective program to offer monoline coverage to address the complex risks faced by businesses that own, manage or work on property that has a railroad line running across or near it, including project specific coverage for individual projects or contracts and coverage for private grade crossings on private property. Terrorism coverage is automatically included. The program is offered through Chartis.
ALLIED WORLD ASSURANCE COMPANY HOLDINGS announced that Allied World Bermuda received approval from Florida to qualify as an "Eligible Reinsurer," which allows lower collateral requirements on nondomestic reinsurers that are highly rated and financially secure. Allied World will now be able to post 20 percent of loss reserves on property-catastrophe reinsurance in Florida rather than the 100 percent required by most non-U.S. reinsurers.
