BOB BLITSHTEIN was named CEO of Insurance Data Processing Inc. Blitshtein comes to IDP from Chartis Insurance, where he served as head of architecture. Prior to that, he was head of software architecture at Cigna. Wyncote, Pa.-based IDP provides back-office suites, agent-facing portals, bureau reporting services and OFAC compliance services to small and midsize P/C carriers.
RORY O'BRIEN was named global risk consulting and software leader at Towers Watson, effective immediately, replacing Steve Taylor-Gooby, who is stepping down from the role after 25 years at the company. O'Brien joined Towers Watson from EMB, the risk consulting and software firm acquired by Towers Watson earlier this year. At EMB, he was managing partner responsible for defining and implementing global strategy.
MICHAEL O'LEARY was appointed as vice president of auto operations for The Innovation Group PLC. O'Leary comes to the Innovation Group with more than 22 years of P/C claims experience, including 20 years at Nationwide Insurance, where he was instrumental in the development and leadership of the Blue Ribbon Repair Service.
BETTY CHAN-BAUZA joined Identity Theft 911 as vice president of product management. She joins the risk management solutions and services provider with more than 19 years of experience in technology, most recently as vice president at LifeLock.
