CHRIS BUTCHER was named as managing director of the new management team for International at London-based Cooper Gay. He currently serves as chief trading officer for Cooper Gay & Co. Ltd.

TONY PICKERING was appointed as chairman of the new international management team at Cooper Gay.

SEAN B. RIDER was named to the newly created role of managing director of sales and consulting at the Willis Global Captive Practice. Based in New York, Rider joined Willis in 2007 and previously served as senior captive consultant for Willis North America's Captive Consulting Practice. Before that, he held leadership positions at HSBC Insurance Management and Discover Re.

Willis also named three professionals to lead its new Willis Re life solutions group: RICK HODGDON, MIKE KASTER and BRIAN HOLLAND. Hodgdon, senior vice president, brings more than 30 years experience in reinsurance, business development and capital management and joins the reinsurance intermediary from Fortegra Financial, where he was president of the life solutions group.

Kaster, senior vice president, has more than 25 years experience in insurance and has served as chief actuary, corporate actuary and chief product actuary for major insurance organizations such as Conseco, Irish Life of NA and Allstate International. He joins from Kaster Actuarial Resources.

Holland, senior vice president, brings three decades of experience in reinsurance marketing and risk management, including chief marketing officer and board level experience for several domestic and international reinsurance organizations. He joins Willis Re from Mann Conroy Eisenberg & Associates, where he was a principal.

TANYA BUSWELL was promoted to the role of transportation team leader and borker at AmWINS Brokerage of Texas in Dallas. She previously worked in underwriting and marketing at such firms as Burns & Wilcox Ltd.

SHEREE DAVIS was named as underwriting manager at Newport General Agency, the Dallas-based nonstandard auto subsidiary of AmWINS Group. With more than 22 years in the insurance industry, Davis has been the manager of Newport's underwriting and customer service departments since 2007.

SCOTT PRUITT was named vice president of risk portfolio management at Risk Transfer. He has been with the Orlando, Fla.-based program manager of workers' compensation and casualty insurance for the past eight years, most recently as national accounts executive.
