KRISTI SAVACOOL was named co-chief executive officer for Aon Hewitt. She will be responsible for Benefits Administration. Joining Hewitt in 2005, Savacool previously had responsibility for all benefits client delivery on Hewitt's Total Benefit Administration platform worldwide. Prior to that, she had responsibility for providing a broad range of technology and business services to Hewitt's global clients.
Aon Hewitt also named BALJIT DAIL as co-chief executive officer, responsible for Consulting. Dail formerly was the CEO of Aon Consulting's international businesses and global practices. Since joining Aon in 2005, he has served in several senior leadership roles, including chief operating officer for Aon Benfield and as chief operating officer of Aon Consulting. Both Dail and Savacool replace former CEO Russ Fradin, who is leaving to become CEO of SunGard.
GREGG KAMAS was promoted to vice president at IMA Financial Group and national practice leader of health risk management for IMA Benefits. He spent 20 years leading employer-based wellness, self-care and clinical management programs in managed care and physician care delivery systems.
KAREN VINES and DYAN THORNTON were also promoted to vice president positions at the brokerage and consulting firm. Vines is director of business development and client services for IMA's employee benefits operations in Wichita, Kan. Thornton is a sales executive responsible for marketing products and services in Wichita and the surrounding region. She focuses on employee benefit solutions as well as the firm's health risk management capabilities.
BRIAN J. KELLY joined Mercer to head workforce metrics and analytics across the Talent & Rewards business at the Marsh & McLennan Cos. unit. He currently serves as the co-chairman of the Institute of Human Resources Workforce Planning & Analytics Working Group and the vice chairman of the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRM) workforce metrics taskforce. He joins Mercer from SuccessFactors, where he was vice president.
