JUNG LEE, 37, was named chief financial officer at Conning. Lee previously served at SFRi, an advisory and investment firm that focuses on insurance and risk management, and before SFRi, he worked in investments and corporate development with Swiss Re and Securitas Capital.

TOM ASH was named executive vice president at Ametros. Prior to joining the financial services consultancy, Ash spent two decades in the workers' compensation managed-care industry. Tom served as vice president and national sales executive with Progressive Medical, vice president of national occupational health for Kaiser Permanente, divisional president of workers' compensation for First Health Corporation, and president and CEO of four wholly owned entities for Health Net.

HANY ABDELSAYED also joined Ametros as a vice president. The 20-year workers' comp veteran last served as director of business development at Rising Financial Solutions and has spent time as well at PMSI MSA Services.

VICTORIA TOZER-PENNINGTON came on board at RiskBusiness International Ltd. as risk information services director. She joined the operational risk advisory firm from Operational Risk & Regulation magazine, where she was editor.

JOHN C. DUNCAN joined Bickmore Risk Services as senior vice president of governmental and regulatory affairs to help lead its national regulatory consulting practices. Duncan is a former director of the Department of Industrial Relations for the state of California.
