This designation honors Top Employee Benefits Consultant winners who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and are worthy of the designation of Responsibility Leader®.

We reviewed the benefits consultant winners to identify eligible candidates and chose six people for this special recognition.

The benefits consultant winners who earned the Responsibility Leader® designation were singled out for their commitment to their organization, their profession and their community. (See all of these honorees and their profiles here.)

Candidates were chosen after they were asked to answer the following questions:

-- How have you helped your clients, their employees and the community-at-large confront and resolve the most challenging employee benefits issues?

-- How does your work as a consultant go "above and beyond" in a way that helps clients or the community?

-- How does your work as a broker, and your career as a broker, reflect a commitment to doing the "right thing" for your profession, your clients and the community?

-- How have you encouraged young people to consider employee benefits and insurance as a career?

-- What recognition have you received from your company, your profession and/or your community?

The editor and publisher of Risk & Insurance® extend our congratulations to this year's Top Employee Benefits Consultant winners who also have been selected as a Responsibility Leader®. (Read all about these Responsibility Leader® designees here.)

For benefits consultants and brokers following in their footsteps, we know these leaders provide an example for the rest of the industry.
