Cambridge is owned by Cambridge Solutions Ltd, which is owned predominantly by the British firm Xchanging plc.

Cambridge adds the areas of transportation liability, structured settlements, Medicare compliance, and consumer financial services, according to a statement from Sedgwick. The transaction includes Cambridge's technology infrastructure that will enable "continued delivery of services to Cambridge clients."

Sedgwick CMS President and CEO David A. North said the company will offer clients "the most comprehensive range of services in the industry delivered by the same experienced teams and innovative systems they work with today."
