Musculoskeletal disorders column still on OSHA's agenda

OSHA reopened the rulemaking record to allow comments regarding the recordkeeping regulations on musculoskeletal disorders.

OSHA proposed to restore a column on the OSHA 300 log if a case is a musculoskeletal disorder. The proposed rule would not change the existing recordkeeping requirements about when and under what circumstances employers must record work-related injuries and illnesses. The deadline for comments has passed.
